Heroes of the pandemic.

This weekend I did a 5K in honor of our frontline workers. This last year has been a test of strength for all of us, teachers, firefighters, police officers, well the list would be endless and could include all of us who toughed out this rough time. However, it hit our healthcare workers, especially. A parent of a student has mentioned how stressed they have been. I've heard the same from several others that I know. I have friends in many areas of healthcare, and all will be ready for this to pass. Hang in there!

When I was a teen, I thought I wanted to be a nurse for a hot minute. I decided quickly it wasn’t for me, but I’m oh so glad that we are all made differently with different passions and interests.

I tip my hat to all of you. Thank you for your bravery, your strength, and your resolve to help us all. You are heroes.
