Background Story
Writing has always been a release for Rhonda. When she is working through something, "write it down." When she is happy, "write it down." Like eating and breathing, it's something integral to her existence. Every day she is thankful to make a career from something that brings her so much pleasure.
Her desire is to connect with women who look at the world with hope, intellect, and grace.
Rhonda's Background Story
Rhonda was born in southern Oklahoma, and moved frequently throughout Oklahoma until her family settled in southeastern Oklahoma where pine trees scent the humid air. She spent much of her childhood playing in a tree or making mud pies while daydreaming stories and pretending she was Laura Ingalls. Which was intensified by the fact that some thought she looked like Melissa Gilbert when “Little House” was running.
She studied elementary education and used that to raise two intelligent, talented girls but didn’t begin writing until they were both out of high school. She currently teaches reading which is perfect considering reading and writing are something she loves.
